I had a crazy thought

I was looking at my mileage log for the year, and I was thinking how cool it would be to get up to 400 miles for the year. That means I would have to run 25.67 miles by the end of the year. That gives me 12 days--with an average of approximately 2.13 miles per day. And I just decided that I am going to go for it. Go me! Wish me luck!

I did the same thing, only with the book of mormon. I thought, how cool would it be to finish this up before we start studying it for Sunday School? So I have to read 35 pages a day to get through. At least I'm through the Isaiah parts in 2nd Nephi now.
Best of luck with the running. I'll come sometimes, but every day will maim me for life.

Oh, I'm not going to run every day. I'll just have to run longer than 2 miles on the days that I do run. I figure if I go 6 times, I will only have to go a little more than 4 miles. Or maybe I'll have to put a couple 6 milers in there. We'll see how it goes.

I can't imaging running 4 miles in a day, let alone 6! Maybe that should be my goal... by the end of the year, I should try to run 4 miles in one... sitting... or running... one try... yeah, that.

If you do your running outside, just be careful of any ice!

That is so do-able. You're amazing. I'm sorry I've been MIA at social functions lately. But the semester's over so maybe we could arrange to be in the same room at the same time one of these days, eh? I think that would be delightful.

I would like to add that I am now a hater of treadmills. I used to be okay with them, but I'm not now. Maybe if I could get Law and Order going again in front of me I could bear the thought...
So I think I am still going to try for running outside. Of course that hail yesterday just made me want to crawl into bed. but between snow storms and when most people clear off their sidewalks, it's totally doable.
