Can you believe this? The New Kids On The Block are reuniting. Weird! I loved them when I was like 9 years old and they were only popular for like a year. I just find this really strange. They are like 40...what's the appeal of a 40-year old boy band? Anyway, just thought I should share.

strange. Very strange.
It may have the same popularity as bringing back the carebears or strawberry shortcake. People dive into these things only for nastalgia's sake sometimes. I say it won't last long. Because they are not furry and cuddly.
Maybe they are actually good now. After 15 years they might have gotten some talent. As for appeal, I dunno, but there are lots of musicians out there that are old. Aerosmith for one. Metallica. Maybe they are broaden their musical horizons. I'm curious to see how well they do, that's for sure.
Well, apparantly they have new stuff. Donny said he doesn't want this to be a nostalgia thing. Although he did say that they would perform some of the oldies. It's just weird.
This would be their second comeback attempt. They tried it around freshman (High School) year. They tried to call themselves NKOTB to re-brand themselves so to speak. Apparently it didn't work out too well for them.
I'm super pumped! LOL Seriously though, it should be interesting to see if they still sound the same. They sure haven't changed much since the early 90's. I LOVED Joey...he's still a cutie!!!!
