On this wet and dreary February 1, I'd put money on that darn shadow of that famous little groundhog.
The big question of the day is, will he or won't he see his shadow? I believe it's sure to be seen, which means...6 more weeks of winter. YUCK! Sometimes it feels like 6 more months of winter are still in store.
December is over, and I'm ready for summer.

I don't know. He might not see his shadow if the sun doesn't come out tomorrow. Sing it, "The sun'll come out, tomorrow. Betcher..."

And the verdict is...we're in for exactly 6 weeks, 60 days, 600 hours and 16 minutes left of winter. Am I ever going to survive?
Please tell me it will be summer in the south country!
